• Amanda Storm, LMFT

    Amanda Storm is a Marriage and Family Therapist possessing over 14 years of experience in the field of Mental Health.  Mandy provides individual and family therapy for children (3+), adolescents, and adults.  She received a Master’s Degree in Health Psychology from Appalachian State University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Winthrop University.  She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Georgia, South Carolina, and California.  

    Mandy has experience working with young children and enjoys helping new parents navigate the challenging journey of parenthood.  She is certified in Triple P: Positive Parenting Program and works hard to give families positive and supportive parenting strategies that prove to be effective and beneficial for the family. She is also credentialed to provide TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), designed to help children and adolescents overcome traumatic events that continue to impact their lives and overall functioning.  

    Amanda also enjoys working with couples and families on reducing marital conflict, and improving relationships by exploring family systems.  Her areas of expertise include children and adolescents with behavioral difficulties, parenting issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, self esteem, anger management, and healthy relationships.  Mandy strives to create a supportive and safe environment in which to explore your thoughts and feelings.  She believes that everyone can benefit from therapy – as it provides a catalyst for change.
