Anna Nance is a Licensed Professional Counselor, who graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and Family Studies. She then continued her education, gaining a Master's of Education in Professional Counseling from The University of West Georgia. Anna has worked with victims of abuse, providing training and support for over 15 years. Prior to becoming a counselor, Anna worked with the Department of Family and Children’s Services directly with families and children who suffered abuse and neglect. Anna provides individual counseling to children, adolescents, and adults; specializing in abuse and trauma – having worked extensively with suicidality and self-harm. Anna engages with clients in a deep, relational way; and supports them on the journey to reaching their full potential in all areas of life. By creating a safe place in which clients can express their feelings freely, the therapeutic relationship engenders personal growth, self-discovery, healing, and change.
