Charlotte Hurt, LCSW

Charlotte is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose passion is to help individuals and families find wholeness. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and marital issues. Charlotte specializes in children 0 to 5 years of age, for whom she offers child-parent psychotherapy – an evidence-based trauma focused therapy.  Ideally, this service helps establish a sense of safety for children and their parents or caregivers. The focus of treatment is working with the child and caregiver together through play.

Charlotte has experience in private practice, community-based mental health settings, and public and private schools. She has a manifold approach, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an eight-phase protocol that assists individuals in reprocessing their traumatic experiences.
