Chasidy Wood, APC

Chasidy Wood is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. She is both a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a certified school counselor.

Chasidy brings a wealth of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families in both school and clinical settings. Her journey into counseling began with her advocacy work in public schools and higher education, where she discovered a deep passion for helping individuals grow, heal, and reach their personal goals.

Her counseling approach is client-centered and holistic, integrating a variety of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness & Meditation, Solution-Focused Therapy, Group Counseling, and Strengths-Based approaches. She customizes each session to meet the unique needs of the individual.

Chasidy has supported clients through a wide range of challenges including stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, PTSD and C-PTSD, Autism, ADHD, grief and loss, family separation, incarceration of a loved one, gender dysphoria, and career exploration. She is especially passionate about using creative forms of expression—art, music, and play—in therapy, and is committed to making mental health care accessible and equitable for everyone, especially the youth from marginalized communities. She strives to create a safe, affirming, and empowering space for every client she serves.

Chasidy is currently practicing under the supervision of Alzi Faubion, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S.
