Alex DiVergilio, APC

Alex DiVergilio is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor who obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and his Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of West Georgia. He has three-and-a-half years of experience counseling in both community mental health and college settings. Alex has experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, anger management, chronic pain, chronic illness, relationship difficulties, life adjustments, and grief. He sees adults, young adults, children, adolescents, and couples.

Alex’s counseling style stresses the importance of increased awareness of our problems and identifying barriers for change. He provides psychotherapy utilizing a variety of modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Play Therapy, and Existential Therapy.

Alex is practicing under the supervision of Alzi Faubion, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S.
