Christy Jackson, APC

Christy holds advanced degrees in Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Together with her experience as a professional artist, Christy’s interdisciplinary background brings a rare blend of scientific understanding and creative insight to psychotherapy.

She is committed to culturally sensitive, collaborative care. Her approach is psychodynamic and integrative, inspired from existential and narrative therapy, parts work, ACT, and mindfulness-based art therapy. Having worked in hospital rehabilitation and crisis settings, Christy has supported children, teenagers, and adults navigating life-altering changes—including traumatic brain injury, identity loss and spiritual transitions, terminal illness, complex trauma, grief, neurodivergence, and personality disorders.

In short, Christy sees each client as a whole person rather than a diagnosis and works across life experiences to bring a creative, comprehensive perspective to therapy. She emphasizes the role of mind-body connection and the power of authentic relationships—where individuals are met with curiosity and compassion. Christy has additional training in somatic and attachment-focused EMDR and attachment-based hypnotherapy.

Christy is currently practicing under the supervision of Terilynn Culverhouse, LPC, CPCS.
