Dr. Danielle Guild

Dr. Guild is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides individual psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and children.  She also conducts psychological evaluations to assess for a variety of issues, some of which include: ADHD, learning disorders, depression, anxiety, and PTSD.  Dr. Guild earned her doctorate at the University of Rochester in upstate, NY and her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at Smith College in Northampton, MA.  

Dr. Guild specializes in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, relational problems, struggles with personal identity, and physical symptoms related to psychological distress.  She has experience working in a range of settings, including community mental health, college counseling centers, and inpatient psychiatric units. 

It is her belief that therapy is a place where anyone can work towards a greater understanding of themselves and the patterns that might contribute to their difficulties.  She practices attentive listening with the goal of fostering self-awareness, personal growth, and release from painful struggles. 

Dr. Guild operates from a psychodynamic perspective, but has training in a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy, which she often integrates into her work.
