Dr. Linda Pugh, LPC

Dr. Pugh is a licensed professional counselor providing counseling and therapy for adults, adolescents, and children. She is a graduate of Capella University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and a Doctorate in Psychology. She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor through the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Dr. Pugh was drawn to the helping profession through her love for children and her work in the childcare industry. A wealth of life experience provides her with an ability to understand common patterns which affect children and families. She works with adult individuals, children, adolescents, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, ADHD, parenting issues, career transitions, grief and loss, stress, and anger management. She enjoys engaging with young children in play therapy techniques, and specializes in working with children, preteens, teens, and individual men and women of all ages. Her approach is eclectic and often includes aspects of biblical counseling, cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, and solution-focused interventions.

Dr. Pugh has experience in private practice, community-based mental health, public and private school settings, as well as inner-city and faith-based environments. She is certified as a Youth Mental Health Coach through Light University and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She also earned a certification in Couples and Family Systems from Capella University. Dr. Pugh is passionate about serving others and truly making a difference.
