Janet Matthews, LCSW

Janet is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Ga, and a Masters Degree in Social Work with an emphasis on children, adolescents and their families from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. 

Janet has experience providing therapy services to various population groups including children, adolescents, families, adults, and veterans. She uses a variety of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. 

Janet has experience providing treatment to individuals suffering from, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder. She is a certified anger management specialist and holds a sand tray level 1 certification. 

 Janet strives to help each of her clients reach their full potential and become their best selves.
