Kristian Williams, APC

Kristian is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor. She graduated from Walden University with her Bachelor’s in Psychology. She then furthered her education at Walden University, with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Kristian enjoys working with children ages 3 and up, adolescents, and adults for individual therapy. Kristian has practiced in partial hospitalization and outpatient psychiatric settings, working with multidisciplinary therapies. Kristian specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ODD, DMDD, ADHD, and adjustment disorders.

Kristian wholeheartedly understands the need to be able to meet clients where they are. She pulls from several therapeutic approaches including Attachment Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. She incorporates creative outlets such as art and expression to help clients express emotions through creativity. Kristian’s approach is culturally sensitive and LGBTQ+ friendly, offering a safe space for her clients to express themselves and feel heard, without judgement. With compassion, empathy, honesty, and patience, she is dedicated to supporting clients through various challenges, while identifying their inner strengths to become a happier and healthier version of themselves.

Kristian has an interest in Play Therapy and is working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist, under the supervision of Alzi Faubion, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S.
