Shaina holds a Bachelor of Science in Practical Theology from Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies: Religion and a Master of Divinity in Theology from Liberty University. Shaina’s mother holds her Doctorate in Psychology and has been a practicing clinician for over 30 years. Shaina grew up working in her mother’s private practice office and learned the ins and outs of the administrative world, especially as it pertains to therapy/counseling practices.
After working for years in church planting and helping start new churches get off the ground in Raleigh, NC and Philadelphia, PA, Shaina returned home to GA and found her way to the Discovery Counseling family.
Outside of her time as Practice Manager, supporting and assisting the amazing clinicians at Discovery, she can be found curled up with a good book, on a run/hike, traveling to a new exciting location, playing with her son, or spending quality time with her family/friends.
