Sherri Christopher, LMFT
Sherri Christopher is a licensed therapist who received a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. She has been working with children, adolescents, families, and adults dealing with traumatic stress, depression, anxiety, ADHD, and anger control for the past 10 years.
Sherri has experience in private practice, residential treatment, outpatient clinics, and community-based mental health settings. She has a manifold approach, using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. She is in the process of becoming certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), which is an eight-phase protocol that assists individuals in reprocessing their traumatic experiences.
Sherri believes that every person can benefit from mental health treatment as they seek to find meaning in life’s difficult experiences, and learn how to become the most effective version of themselves. She desires to walk with her clients through their unique journeys and help them develop practical steps to becoming whole.
